PREPARATION

The founders of Family Learning Services, Clayton and Suzanne Crymes,
bring to the organization educational preparation in a variety of academic fields that have covered both public and private education. Dr. Crymes received his baccalaureate and masters degrees from Seattle Pacific University and his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in Educational Administration.

Dr. Crymes has worked in the field of education for more than thirty years in both teaching and administration. Mrs. Crymes, a licensed professional counselor in the State of Oregon, and certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors, taught for fifteen years and served several more years professionally in international children's services.

We highly regard integrity as a value as we work with families of differing backgrounds and situations and are ready to assist them in achieving their educational and career goals. We have been working in this context successfully since 1991, and we welcome families of all ethnic origins and religious commitments.

FAMILY

An additional and valued part of our experience has included living and working in mult-cultural settings and in parenting three sons. Our first-born, Bill, died at the age of fifteen of leukemia. David, a counselor, and Robert, a vocational rehabilitation consultant, provide continuing insight and perspective for FLS by serving on its Board of Directors.
